Paper Towel & Paper Plate Art!!


 I went into a 2nd grade classroom and couldn't believe it when the teacher told me that the hanging banners were made from paper towels!!! They folded the towels and dipped them in food coloring! Beautiful, tie dye style art.








 Glyph...everything has a meaning.Eyes-what subject you like
                                                        Hair-birthdays
                                                        Mouth- brothers , sisters or none
                                                        Nose-where you live
                                                        Hat-Letter you name begins with
                                                       


 Using the children's name as art. The teacher helped with the letters in the name
  and the student are using line and color in many ways.
